Red
squeezes my hand tightly. “Take it out of this hospital, get
somewhere isolated, and speak into the thing. I guarantee you an
agent will show up with another injection.” For the first time, I’m
seeing Red the way the county saw him when he was just a little boy.
On the outside, he is goofy and lighthearted, but beneath that layer
lives a threatening astuteness. “As long as the commander is in
charge of the BOTs, you are the only truly indestructible resistance
